In the weeks ahead of the forced break, the former Juventus player was part of the Nerazzurri squad but only appeared as an unused substitute.
The newspaper writes that he has been following a personal training programme during the quarantine period, after avoiding a surgical intervention on the problem, and should be considered available for Conte in an event of a return to the pitch to conclude the 2019-20 season.
The Ghanaian defender struggled with knee problems since November and has been through a couple of setbacks, losing big chunks of the season due to the issues.
Conte brought in Ashley Young and Victor Moses, who can both fill Asamoah’s position at wingback, and he will return to action with increased competition for a place in the side.
