According to Radio Radio, Arsenal are ready to offer a higher sum for Victor Osimhen than Paris Saint-Germain, but a lower salary, so Napoli hope to accelerate negotiations.

It is absolutely no secret that the Nigeria international was supposed to leave this summer after he signed the new contract in December 2023 with a salary pushing €10m per season.

That included a release clause set at €120-130m, but no club has gone anywhere near to meeting that asking price, so Napoli are now prepared to negotiate a lower figure.

Osimhen between PSG and Arsenal

PSG had been the absolute favourites for the striker, but now Radio Radio suggest that Arsenal are stepping up talks and offering more than the Ligue 1 giants in terms of transfer fee.

However, they are also proposing a lower salary than the one Paris Saint-Germain can guarantee.

Napoli simply want to get Osimhen off their books, as they cannot go all in for Romelu Lukaku or any other reinforcements until he has been sold.
