The report claims he would prefer a new job in Italy because of his family but it could be difficult to find a job that lives up to his expectations in Serie A.

Allegri’s name has therefore circulated in the Premier League, with links to Manchester United in recent weeks.

The Red Devils could allegedly part ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if the Norwegian fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.

According to La Stampa, the former Milan coach could also be in line to replace Thomas Tuchel in Paris and claims Leonardo has already been in contact with the 52-year-old.
