While Milan consider his future, it’s claimed Massimiliano Allegri has already agreed a three-year contract with Roma.

The Rossoneri have made it clear Allegri will be fired if he doesn’t secure third place and qualification for the Champions League, as President Silvio Berlusconi is unconvinced by his suitability for the role.

According to the Corriere della Sera, the Coach is not prepared to wait for his dismissal and has been busy working on an alternative – a three-year deal with Roma.

The Giallorossi need a long-term replacement for Aurelio Andreazzoli, who took over in February after Zdenek Zeman was sacked.

They were also linked with Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri, but it seems as if Allegri has clinched an agreement with the Olimpico side.

Roma have many young players and are said to be impressed with the way Allegri introduced fresh faces like Stephan El Shaarawy and Mattia De Sciglio into the side.

Allegri spent three years at Milan, winning the Scudetto and Italian Super Cup.
