Juventus, Milan, Chelsea and Liverpool target Renato Sanches “asked to be left out” of the Bayern Munich squad this weekend.

The midfielder only arrived a year ago from Benfica for €35m plus substantial bonuses, but struggled for playing time.

He is not included in Carlo Ancelotti’s side for this weekend and Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed a move is on the cards.

“It was Sanches who asked the Coach to be left out of the squad,” Salihamidzic told Sky Sport Deutschland.
