Reports from Portugal suggest that Renato Sanches is continuing to turn down Milan, despite their agreement with Lille, as he looks for a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Rossoneri have been keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder for a while now and believe that he’d be the perfect fit for Stefano Pioli’s midfield in Lombardy. Talks have been ongoing for a while and the Milanese club have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Lille for the player.

As reported by Portuguese newspaper Record, Renato Sanches has made his choice and he wants a transfer to PSG, so he’s continuing to reject Milan’s advances as he awaits a move to the French capital.

The Portuguese midfielder wants to work with his former coach Christophe Galtier and he’s made his position clear to super-agent Jorge Mendes.

Last season, Sanches scored one goal and provided five assists in 24 Ligue 1 appearances.

  1. Says the Italian giants who still cannot translate the same presence in Europe as their domestic show. Since when did Milan become a small club.

  2. Juvenesia – well, if Milan is a smaller club, then what does this make Juventus – a tiny little team that will never win champions league. Heck, They can’t even win Serie A anymore, forget champions league HAHA

  3. The signs aren’t great but I really hope we won’t have a repeat summer like the one post winning the 18th scudetto! Mister x this, mister x that! All the big names mentioned but in the end we spent virtually nothing, and secured nocherino in the last minutes of the window!

As for Renato! Coming to Milan would represent the best decision of his career! But then money talks!

  5. Hahah even mediocre player dont want to join that mid table team and snub them for farmer league team. Poor milan.

  6. I guess Sanches didn’t learn from his Bayern adventure. But that’s cool, I can see how getting paid more to sit on the bench would appeal to some. If he doesn’t want to be at Milan then we should move on. No sense bringing in a reluctant player and risk poisoning the squad atmosphere.

  7. Best to leave him to psg, and make yur move on idrissa gueye, wijnaldrum, abdou diallo, paredes,

  8. Thing is, I’m not sure if we can bring another player of his calibre with that price, and we have a budget problem, and we need a good player with enough experience for that position after Kessié.
