Milan Juventus

Juventus fans are furious after another negative result against Milan, as pundits claim the glass is ‘half full’ at the Allianz Stadium. Join the debate on the Liveblog.

Alvaro Morata gave the Bianconeri the lead in Turin, but Ante Rebic responded and helped Milan pick up one point and join Inter at the top.

Juventus sit 18th in Serie A after four games and Max Allegri stormed off the pitch after the full-time whistle.

The Italian sports pages claim Sandro Tonali won the battle against Manuel Locatelli in the middle and gave Stefano Pioli a better rating than Allegri in the two respective dugouts.

Fabrizio Ravanelli told Tuttomercatoweb that Juventus ‘were unlucky’ against the Rossoneri but stressed: “If we analyse yesterday’s test, the glass is half full.”

Carlo Ancelotti spoke to Radio Rai and said he believes Juventus will ‘bounce back’ and be one of the title candidates ‘in the end’, while he hopes to see Milan continue to fight for a place in the top of the table.

None of the teams can rest, as Serie A immediately heads for the first midweek round of the season, when Juventus play Spezia in Liguria and Milan host Venezia at San Siro.

  1. Lead and pull back.
That’s why Allegri always be the losing finalist, not champions league winner!

  2. The mentality is all wrong. Yes Milan are in form but they were missing so many players. One would expect that the home team who really needed the win would play the whole game with determination.
Anyone who thought this was the year to win back the title is deluded. They will realistically be fighting for 5-7 place. Forget top 4 not with this mindset

  3. I am a Juve fan and after our first game, I have predicted we’ll end up 7/8th. And other Juve fan branding me “plastic fan” and Ronaldo fanboy hahaha

  4. Never did I imagine that Juventus would be sitting in 18th after 4 games. The loss of the pretty boy was going to impact some matches, but this team has not responded well to Allegri. Maybe with Pirlo at the helm they’re sitting with 2 wins. They’ll eventually respond, but at this rate they better get their arses in gear to have a shot at Europa League play.
