The Biancocelesti fell to a 2-1 defeat in Week 19’s closing fixture, a result that subsequently saw the Nerazzurri overlap Reja’s team into fourth place in the table.
Reja complained immediately after the match of Giampaolo Pazzini’s goal being offside and has now stretched his broadside at the match officials into Monday.
“There are many stories to be discussed,” the 66-year-old tactician began on Radio Lazio Style. “The booking for Dias was for something nobody saw.
“There was an unintentional clash, I know he is not the type of player who sets out to do these sort of things, and the booking affected the whole game.
“There were then three obvious fouls on Hernanes including one by [Walter] Samuel with his feet together and yet a yellow card is not produced. There were double standards, two different punishments.
“There is no use complaining, against some teams we are not protected. We must be stronger than some of the errors and the bad luck.”
Beyond the contempt for the officiating in Week 19, Reja also admitted that his players lacked certain aspects to see out the result on Sunday evening.
“I am heartened that we are growing from a physical point of view and in consideration of the game – they have not created much through the whole game. In addition to their goals came only a shot from [Wesley] Sneijder.
“Of course, though, we too made some mistakes, such as at the end of the first half where we did not attack as before, instead throwing the ball away trying to pass the time.
“From this point of view we need more assuredness and maturity.
“We must give credit to the Inter players, champions who can punish you at the first opportunity.”
