Lazio boss Edy Reja insists that his side won't sit back and hope for a draw at Milan on Tuesday night.

"We have to go out there and look to score goals otherwise we'll return to Rome as a beaten side," he stated.

"If we wait for Milan to attack us then we will certainly lose the game."

"If we want to trouble the Rossoneri then we have to play with more intensity than they do because they have better players than us," Reja added.

Milan do have some selection headaches, but the former Napoli boss has underlined that he has his own issues to contend with.

"It's true that Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has a lot of absences to deal with, but I also have my own problems," he added.

"In attack I only have Giuseppe Sculli, who is not at 100 per cent, and Libor Kozak…"

The latter was the hero on Saturday though as he netted both goals in the 2-0 victory over Fiorentina at the Olimpico.

"We were in a slump, but we have now found the right spirit and the desire to battle again," added Reja.

"I don't have many tactical solutions right now, but the side is doing well. Victories are good for morale and we have to go to Milan to play a great game."
