The 2-0 result was their first loss since the opening weekend, but did not take the Biancocelesti off the top of the table.

“The objective is to keep going forward, as the derby chapter is officially closed,” announced Reja ahead of tomorrow night's Cesena clash.

“We do not emerge from that game with our standing in any way reduced. We dominated Roma and there were some dubious incidents, but now we must look to Cesena.

“We have the right mentality to begin again, as we must have total faith in this squad, despite the fact some people couldn't wait for Lazio to slip up. It's true, we fell, but with our heads held high.”

Hernanes and Stefan Lichtsteiner are out of this match, so there is an adjustment.

“Cesena are a dangerous side who play at a high tempo with everyone participating in the attack,” continued Reja.

“We will play with Pasquale Foggia and Mauro Zarate wide, Stefano Mauri as a trequartista and Sergio Floccari as the only centre-forward.

“Physically Hernanes is fine, but he probably needs to power down and relax his nerves. He is under stress and everyone expects so much from him, so he feels the pressure of that attention.”

Lichtsteiner is sidelined after getting a knock to the wrist during the game with Roma.
