The Coach has lost striker Djibril Cisse to English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday, whilst Le Aquile’s move for Japanese international Keisuke has reportedly stalled.
With injury running through the squad, Reja has reflected upon the decreasing number of options available to him.
“There are negotiations of course, but until confirmed I will not be able to say anything. I’m waiting like everyone else. I have asked for a striker and a midfielder.”
The tactician confirmed that Inter signing Fredy Guarin, who was also tracked by Juventus, was top of Le Aquile’s shopping list too.
“He was a midfielder that we followed for a while, but the Nerazzurri have taken him. I’m not worried, but I would like some alternatives in the central area of the field.
“We have three players in [Cristian] Brocchi, [Stefano] Mauri and [Lorik] Cana out so we have some nerves. With [Libor] Kozak and [Emiliano] Alfaro also out, we only have two strikers.”
