Pepe Reina assures Milan “have more faith than ever” in Coach Gennaro Gattuso after a 2-1 Europa League home defeat to Real Betis.

This was their second consecutive setback after a last-gasp loss to rivals Inter on Sunday.

“Betis pass the ball very well and at times it makes you irritated as an opponent, but we have to read the situations better and have the humility to hang in there,” the goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia.

“I compliment Betis, because they are a good team, but we have to watch this game over again and learn from our mistakes. This is our profession, at times there are errors, but the important thing is to get back on our feet and learn from them.

“We have no intention of seeking out people to blame. We must be cool-headed, try to learn from our mistakes and move forward.”

There have been reports the squad is losing confidence in Coach Gattuso.

“Absolutely not, we have more faith than ever in the Coach. This team can do well, it’s not all darkness. We must be calm and evaluate things with a cool head.”
