Pepe Reina admits Gonzalo Higuain’s move from Napoli to Juventus is “comparable” to when Luis Figo left Barcelona for Real Madrid in 2000.
Edinson Cavani reiterated on Wednesday that he would have “never” swapped Napoli for Juve in the manner Higuain did, and Reina went one further than his former teammate by uttering the move in the same breath as Figo’s controversial Clasico crossing.

“Higuain’s sale was hard to swallow for Napoli fans,” the goalkeeper told Onda Cero.
“It’s something comparable to the transfer of Figo from Barcelona to Real Madrid.”
