Pepe Reina is one of three Napoli players past and present who have been accused of having links with the Camorra.
Reina has been referred to the FIGC’s Federal National Court, along with Paolo Cannavaro and Salvatore Aronica, for ‘maintaining inappropriate relations’ with convicted criminal Gabriele Esposito, plus his brothers Francesco and Giuseppe, noted for their questionable business practices.
Napoli, Sassuolo and Palermo, who continue to employ the trio, have also been implicated.
