Serie A stars shone during the international break, with Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders and Inter defender Denzel Dumfries scoring against Germany in the Nations League last night.

The first Milan derby in 2024-25 is just around the corner, as it will be played on September 22, and some Milan and Inter players already seem to be in shape.

It’s indeed the case for Reijnders and Dumfries, who scored a goal each in the Netherlands’ 2-2 home draw against Germany last night.

The Milan midfielder opened the account after two minutes, while Dumfries scored the equaliser in the second half.

Both players are returning to their clubs to resume the Serie A campaign. Milan will host Venezia at San Siro on Saturday, September 14, while Inter visit Alessandro Nesta’s Monza the following day.
