Roma have plenty of regrets for their 4-3 loss against Juventus in January but still have a chance to finish in the top four and lift a piece of silverware this season.

José Mourinho’s boys dominated for more than one hour against Juventus on January 9 and were leading 3-1 at minute 70. However, the Old Lady managed to score three goals in just seven minutes and Lorenzo Pellegrini fluffed the potential 4-4 from the spot in the final minutes of action.

The Giallorossi have had highs and lows this term, but have recently become way more consistent. Their 1-0 win over Sampdoria yesterday means that the Capitolines are now unbeaten in 10 games for the first time since 2015-16. They are still five points behind Juventus, but if they had won that match at the Stadio Olimpico, they would have been one point ahead of the Bianconeri.

The Giallorossi have a tricky fixture list as Inter, Fiorentina and Napoli are among their opponents in the final seven games of the campaign. José Mourinho will also be looking to lift a piece of silverware this season as Roma are among the Conference League’s favourites.

They have been paired with Bodo/Glimt in the quarter-finals and will play the first leg away this coming Thursday. The 2008 Coppa Italia remains the last trophy won by the Giallorossi.
