Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs will officiate the Europa Conference League Final between Roma and Feyenoord.
The clash will be played at the Arena Kombetare in Tirana, Albania, on Wednesday May 25 at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).
UEFA announced that Kovacs will officiate his first major European Final, having been an international referee since 2010.
The 37-year-old was in charge of 10 UEFA matches this season, including the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between Manchester City and Real Madrid.
He will be assisted for the Conference League Final by Vasile Florin Marinescu, Mihai Ovidiu Artene and fourth official Sandro Schärer of Switzerland.
The VAR is German Marco Fritz, with Christian Dingert and Bastian Dankert in support.
Meanwhile, Clement Turpin of France has been assigned to the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
There is at least some Italian representation, as Massimiliano Irrati and Filippo Melo are assistant VARs to France’s Jerome Brisard.
You can’t spell Romania without Roma. That’s my conspiracy theory anyway.
