Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has claimed that Adel Taarabt has a future at the club, despite rumours of a permanent switch to Milan.
The Morocco international spent the second half of last season on loan at San Siro, and reports were that the Rossoneri were keen on keeping the playmaker.
However, with a deal yet to be struck, Redknapp has insisted that if he gets fit, Taarabt is still wanted by the Premier League outfit.
“The first day back training he wasn’t fit and hasn’t been fit to train since,” he told reporters.
“We need to get him fit. He’s got to train morning, noon and night really, whether he stays here or goes somewhere else.
“I’ve got a lot of time for Adel. If he does that he will be a great asset to us I’m sure.”
