The Croatia international joined Vincenzo Montella’s side over the summer from RNK Split, and the youngster has reflected on his brief time in Tuscany.

“The city is very beautiful, the club are organised and the fans are special,” he told reporters.

“It’s a real top club. I have not played much, but I must admit that Italian football is more difficult than Croatian.

“But I have confidence in myself and I know I can play in a good team.

“Competition is fierce but we have so many games to play, so I know my opportunity will come at some point.”
