Multiple reports claim Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio will likely join Aston Villa on a free transfer despite interest from Milan and Juventus.
The Spaniard’s contract at the Estadio Bernabeu expires this coming June and both Marca and Calciomercato.com claim the player has rejected a contract extension offer from the La Liga giants.
Juventus and Milan are among the clubs monitoring the 27-year-old, but both Serie A giants are unlikely to secure the winger’s signature.
Asensio, in fact, has reportedly received a massive offer from Aston Villa, who have secured a Conference League spot for next season.
According to Calciomercato.com, the offer from the Birmingham-based club can’t be matched by Juventus and Milan and although Asensio has taken time before making a final decision, he seems intentioned to join The Villans on a free transfer in July.
Asensio has scored 55 goals in 262 appearances with Real Madrid winning, among other trophies, three Champions League and three La Liga titles.
