Real Madrid have reportedly decided to make a serious move for Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka next summer.

TMW details how Los Blancos coach Carlo Ancelotti has been closely following the 28-year-old Slovak’s development since his arrival in the Campania capital back in January 2020. The Italian coach is very impressed with what he’s seen from Lobotka and has recommended the player to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Napoli have no intention of upsetting the balance of the squad in January and so won’t sell Lobotka in the winter, pushing Real Madrid to plan ahead for next summer’s transfer window. The club are in a strong position as the 28-year-old recently signed a new long-term contract, tying him to the Campania capital to 2027.

Despite his contract situation, Real Madrid are big fans of Lobotka and will make a move next summer. The Spanish giants are preparing for a future without Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, and they believe the Napoli star is the right option for the future.
