Real Madrid are seriously interested in Andrea Cambiaso and are planning to snap up the Juventus wing back in the summer, reports detail.

The 23-year-old Italian has shined for Massimiliano Allegri’s Bianconeri this term, scoring two goals and providing four assists in his first 21 games for the club. After initially impressing on the left side of the pitch, he showed his flexibility by switching to the right from November onwards.

Juventus are still in the early stages of their push for sustainability and are expected to generate funds in the summer through player sales, with the top candidate to depart seemingly being striker Dusan Vlahovic.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport via TMW, Real Madrid have been impressed by Cambiaso’s work with Juventus this season and are keen to make a move in the coming months, having decided against a deal in January.

Carlo Ancelotti and his son Davide have already given their greenlights to the deal and Los Blancos are now expected to invest around €40-50m in the 23-year-old Italian.

Should Cambiaso leave Juventus in the summer, the club could bring in Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori as a replacement.
