Reports suggest Real Madrid are tracking Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, with a view to a summer transfer.

The Bosnian international has been in fine form for the Giallorossi this season, contributing three goals and three assists in his six Serie A games so far.

According to Calciomercato, Real Madrid have sent scouts to observe the 25-year-old in Roma’s last two Serie A matches, at home to Carpi and away to Palermo.

The website reports that while some of the Merengues hierarchy are unconvinced that Pjanic is worth the high fee that Roma would demand, Coach Rafa Benitez is determined to bring him to Spain.

Benitez is familiar with the midfielder and Italian football, having spent two seasons in charge of Napoli.
