Serie A clubs are on the alert after Real Madrid have confirmed Sergio Ramos leaves Los Blancos this summer.
The La Liga giants released a statement confirming the centre-back, who was left out of Spain’s Euro 2020 squad this summer, will leave the club after the 2020-21 season.
“Real Madrid CF announce that tomorrow, Thursday June 17, at 12.30pm, an institutional act of tribute and farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos will be held, which will be attended by our President Florentino Perez,” the club wrote on their official website.
“Sergio Ramos will then appear before the media in a virtual press conference.”
Juventus were linked with the Merengues captain at the end of 2020, when Manchester United and Manchester City were also rumoured to follow his situation in Madrid.
The 35-year-old only played 15 La Liga games in 2020-21 and it’s still not sure whether he will continue to play or not.
