Andrea Belotti seems destined to leave Roma in the coming days as clubs across Europe compete for his signature.

The 30-year-old Italian striker did feature fairly regularly in the first half of the season under Jose Mourinho, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 997 minutes of action across 22 matches. He’s never managed to recapture his Torino magic in the Italian capital.

Daniele De Rossi has decided to shake things up at Roma since his appointment, trying out 4-3-2-1 and 3-4-3 formations, both of which feature Romelu Lukaku as the leading man in the frontline, leaving no space for Belotti.

As reported by TMW, Real Betis are seriously interested in making a move for Belotti, wanting the Roma striker to replace the Bayer Leverkusen bound Borja Iglesias. Wolfsburg are also keen, posing a threat to the interested Fiorentina.

The Viola are hoping to sign the 30-year-old on loan but first need to make some space in their squad, with the primary candidate for this being M’Bala Nzola. Belotti would prefer to stay in Italy, making Florence his preferred destination for the time being.
