SportItalia suggest that RB Salzburg are closing in on a deal for emerging Juventus talent Nicolo Turco.

The teenage forward was part of the Azzurrini squad that won the Under-19 European Championships, playing a backup role under Alberto Bollini.

Turco initially developed at Genoa before leaving for Juventus aged 14 in 2018. Over the last five years, he’s progressed up the ranks in Turin and is now part of the NextGen squad.

As reported by Gianluigi Longari of SportItalia, Juventus are close to selling Turco to RB Salzburg for around €4m plus add-ons and a 20% future resale clause.

The 19-year-old Italian will be hoping to continue his development and see regular first team football in Austria, something that would’ve been hard to come by at Juventus. RB Salzburg have earnt a reputation for helping young players take the next step in their careers.

Last season, Turco scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 36 total appearances for the Juventus Primavera squad.
