Fabrizio Ravanelli has resigned as Coach of Arsenal Kiev, complaining “this club is not even remotely organised or professional.”

The 49-year-old former Juventus, Middlesbrough and Italy striker had been in Ukraine since July and was under contract until June 2020.

However, after just nine games – seven of which were defeats – he quit the club.

“I came here with great enthusiasm, but unfortunately I had to deal with a reality that was becoming far more complex and has now reached a critical level,” said Ravanelli.

“I always found difficulties to be motivating in my life, but the results have not come despite the efforts of the staff and players.

“I met President Piric only once since I’ve been working here. He never visited the training ground and evidently that’s why he didn’t realise the difficult conditions we are working in every day.

“This club is not even remotely organised or professional. Every day the players come to me complaining they haven’t received their wages.”
