Raul is hoping to go clear of Pippo Inzaghi in the European club competitions' scoring charts in the Italian's own San Siro home this week.
Raul and Inzaghi have netted a record 70 goals in Europe for clubs down the years, but the Schalke ace wants his 71st against Inter on Tuesday.
"I feel sorry for Pippo as he is injured at the minute and I hope he gets well soon, but to go clear of him at San Siro would be great," said the former Real Madrid icon.

"I feel sorry for Pippo as he is injured at the minute and I hope he gets well soon, but to go clear of him at San Siro would be great," said the former Real Madrid icon.
"I've scored 70 goals, even if Schalke claim I have 71, but I can assure you that I haven't finished scoring yet."
The Nerazzurri will start the tie as favourites to reach the last four, but the former Spanish international believes his side can cause an upset.
"We'll need to be at our very limit for two games, but we are a Cup side and we're at home in these competitions," Raul added.
Inter, defeated 3-0 by Milan at the weekend, beat Bayern Munich on the away goals rule in the last round to qualify.
