Giacomo Raspadori admits he was ‘shaking’ after scoring the last-gasp winner away to Juventus, which means Napoli could win the Scudetto next weekend.

It was a chaotic encounter, with two Bianconeri goals disallowed for an Arkadiusz Milik foul on Stanislav Lobotka and Federico Chiesa pulling the ball beyond the by-line before his assist for Dusan Vlahovic.

In stoppages, Raspadori shaped up for a great volley through Wojciech Szczesny’s legs at the back post on the Eljif Elmas cross.

“I am shaking, we wanted it so much and Juve created a lot of problems, but we believed to the very end,” Raspadori told DAZN.

He might also have been shaking because a storm erupted over the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin, including thunder and lightning.

“It is a very important goal, we still have games that need to be won. This gives us a big hand, as we were coming off the disappointment of the Champions League.”

Raspadori had come off the bench in the closing stages after injury problems and had not found the net since October 2022.

“The squad and fans always showed their love for me, it has been a difficult time for me with injuries, but the staff helped me through it.”

Napoli will mathematically be Champions of Italy next weekend if they beat Salernitana and Lazio fail to get all three points against Inter.

“The important thing now is to get three points against Salernitana. That’s how we got this far, taking it one game at a time and not looking at what the others do.”
