Raspadori double as Napoli beat Antalyaspor

Giacomo Raspadori scored twice around a Matteo Politano strike as Napoli beat Antalyaspor 3-2 as part of their tour of Turkey.

With Serie A on a break for the 2022 World Cup and set to resume on January 4, the Partenopei organised some friendly tests and a warm weather training camp in Turkey.

It took just eight minutes to break through with Raspadori’s right-foot curler to the far post, then he provided the assist for Politano’s left-foot finish.

Raspadori was certainly on form and hit the upright before Napoli moved to a 3-4-2-1 formation for the second half.

Mehmedi’s angled drive got Antalyaspor back into it before Raspadori completed his brace with a snooker shot into the far corner.

Vural had a goal ruled offside and Giovanni Simeone rattled the frame of the goal, but Ozmert’s free kick closed the gap.

Another positive from this match was the return to the field of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia for 46 minutes after recovering from a back injury.

Napoli also played for the first time in their Christmas special edition jersey, which they will wear in the remaining friendlies against Crystal Palace and Villarreal.
