“I’m breathless, it’s the best day of my life,” Raspadori told Sky Sport Italia.

“I want to thank the coach and the club for this opportunity, my family and girlfriend for always supporting me. Sassuolo are like a family and I will never regret joining this club.”

The Italy Under-20 international was asked about his influences and there’s one that stands out.

“Kun Aguero is my reference and the player I try to emulate. I supported Inter as a kid, but as I’ve been at Sassuolo for 10 years, I am now a Neroverdi fan.”
