Serie A fans were left stunned when photographs emerged of rapper Travis Scott being arrested in Paris while wearing an Antonio Chimenti Juventus jersey from 2004/05.

The incident itself was largely irrelevant to the Calcio world, as the singer and former partner of Kylie Jenner was in the Capital of France to attend the 2024 Olympic Games.

The prosecutor’s office confirmed police were called to the George V hotel on Friday morning to arrest him for “violence against a security guard.”

What really raised eyebrows in Italy were the photographs of Scott being handcuffed and bundled into the back of a police van.

They showed that not only was he wearing a Juventus goalkeeper’s jersey from the 2004/05 season, but as he turned around it was also the Number 12 of Antonio Chimenti.

This was frankly an unusual choice, as Chimenti was their second choice shot-stopper behind the legendary Gigi Buffon and because of that made all of five appearances that season in all competition.

Now 54, Chimenti made a grand total of 34 appearances for the Old Lady.

Also worth noting is that although Juve won the Serie A title in 2004/05, it was later revoked due to the Calciopoli scandal and left unassigned.

Travis Scott is a Calcio fan, as he also attended an event with AC Milan patron Gerry Cardinale last month.
