Hull City have officially confirmed they won’t sign Andrea Ranocchia outright, so he’ll return to Inter.
The Italian international joined the English side in the January transfer window, but the Tigers have been relegated from the Premier League.
That made it extremely unlikely that they’d be able to keep hold of Ranocchia, and today it has been confirmed that he’ll go back to the Nerazzurri.

Hull released a list of the players leaving the club ahead of next season, with Ranocchia included as “returning to parent club” along with Oumar Niasse, Lazar Markovic and Dieumerci Mbokani.
It’s unlikely to be a long stay, however, as the centre-back is out of contract at the end of the season.
