According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are ready to rekindle interest in Inter’s Andrea Ranocchia as a replacement.

The centre-back is out-of-favour under Roberto Mancini, as evidenced by his preference for Gary Medel in the backline, despite the Chilean being a natural midfielder.

It’s thought the Diavolo would seek an initial loan deal for Ranocchia, but could face competition from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur who would be willing to take him outright.
