Andrea Ranocchia admits he feels sorry for Walter Mazzarri after the Coach was replaced on the Inter bench by Roberto Mancini.
The Nerazzurri have slumped to ninth in Serie A, with Mazzarri paying the price on Friday, being replaced by returning Inter Coach Roberto Mancini.
Despite the club’s lowly league position, defender Ranocchia refused to criticise the outgoing coach.
“I’ll continue to defend him [Mazzarri],” Ranocchia told Sky.
“All my Coaches have given me something.
“He paid the price for everything, especially the media chaos which was created.
“But now we have a new Coach. I’m sorry for Mazzarri, but tomorrow I’m thinking of a new Inter with Roberto Mancini.
“We will try to bring Inter to the top, starting with Sunday [the derby with Milan].
“It will be a great game, and we have to aim for victory."
