Andrea Ranocchia is reported to have renewed his contract with Inter, but with the club having agreed not to release a statement yet.

The defender's deal is due to expire in summer of next year, but rumours suggest that long-lasting talks over an extension have reached a positive conclusion.

Michele Criscitiello, the director of news outlet Tuttomercatoweb, was interviewed for the Italian TV broadcast Sportitalia and made the case that the 27-year-old has already renewed his contract with the club.
