Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that he will leave Roma at the end of the season.

Ranieri was brought in as a caretaker after Eusebio Di Francesco was sacked in March, but the 67-year-old made it clear he would not be kept on beyond Roma’s remaining three Serie A games.

“My job ends with the last three games,” he said at a Press conference for Sunday’s clash with champions Juventus.

“I always knew that would be the case. I chose to come here for this season finale because I’m a Roma fan and I wanted to put my enthusiasm at the service of the team.”

The former Leicester City boss has won four, drawn three and lost just two of his nine matches back at the helm.

His run of results has left the Giallorossi still in with a shout of Champions League football next season.
