“To beat Juventus you need to be focused and determined,” Ranieri said at a Press conference.

“After the chance we squandered at Genoa, it’s important to show our fans the desire for revenge.

“I arrived at a time when it was difficult for us to qualify for the Champions League. Now it’s in our hands.

“We have three games left and we mustn’t leave anything to chance. We mustn’t have any regrets.

“Zaniolo’s an all-round midfielder, I’ve said it several times. I’ve also used him as an attacking midfielder and a winger but only when it’s been necessary.

“A lad who’s still in his first Serie A season can’t play all the matches at 100 percent, but lately I’ve been seeing him more reassured.

“Karsdorp and Santon have been training all week. They’re fine but they don’t have 90 minutes in them.

“I know I can use Florenzi in two roles down the right, both at the back and up top. Pastore wasn’t annoyed about his exclusion against Genoa.

“He trained well and has everything in order to be picked for the game.”

Finally, the ex-Chelsea and Fulham manager was asked about four English teams in the Champions League and Europa League Finals.

“It surprised me a bit,” he concluded.

“Some time ago I pointed out in England that, as there was no winter break, the teams would get to the Final a bit. tired.

“Obviously something has changed, even in the management of Coaches perhaps.”
