Claudio Ranieri has reportedly signed a deal to take over at Watford in the Premier League, replacing Xisco Munoz at the Hornets.

The 69-year-old has, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, penned a deal with the Premier League side today and his first game should be after the international break against Liverpool.

Romano confirms the deal has been signed, as Ranieri has decided to return to the Premier League for a fourth stint in the English top flight.

The former Leicester coach succeeds Munoz in the dugout at the Hornets, as the previous coach was sacked by the club after picking up seven points in seven games.

Ranieri won the Premier League with the Foxes in 2015-16 and has since coached Fulham in the English League.

The veteran tactician leaves Italy after stints with Roma and Sampdoria, helping the Blucerchiati reach ninth in Serie A last term before parting ways with the Ligurians.
