“Chievo have done well from the moment they stepped into the top flight. Their trademark is pressing, fighting and running,” explained Ranieri in his Press conference.

There is a midweek round coming up and a clash with leaders Juve next weekend.

“I don't think I'll rotate the squad too much. There will be a few changes tomorrow, a few more on Wednesday, so along the way some players will be rotated.

“However, I am not inclined to replace the most in form players. Giampaolo Pazzini? He is among the in form, yes. Does that mean he'll play? Who knows…

“Mauro Zarate is settling in very well and that pleases me, as he is a youngster who wants to do well. I believe he will have a great campaign.”
