The Blucerchiati snatched a 1-0 away win at Udinese.

“I am happy for the mentality we showed and the determination we had to snatch the three points. Once again, we saw a group that is working well,” Ranieri said at a press conference.

“I had said we had conceded too many goals this season, and I didn’t want to concede more. I am really happy about the commitment of the lads, I am satisfied with this group.”

Fabio Quagliarella scored the winner from the spot in the second half.

“He is a special boy, he has so much enthusiasm, he works hard and I am happy he is the captain of this team,” the coach claimed.

Ranieri must meet the board to decide his future, but there are reports, President Massimo Ferrero met Red Star coach Dejan Stankovic to offer him the job.

“There are no news, we’ll see what happens next week. I am always optimistic, I always see the glass half full,” Ranier said.
