Bologna defender Filip Helander is reportedly on the verge of a move to Glasgow Rangers for approximately €4.5m.
According to Swedish site Sport Bladet, the 26-year-old is heading for a new career path in Scotland.
The Sweden international has been in Italy since 2005 at Verona and then Bologna.
The centre-back made 23 competitive appearances for Bologna last season, 20 of them in Serie A.
Helander is under contract until June 2022, having only renewed his deal in August 2018.
