Aaron Ramsey is reportedly asking for €4m to terminate his contract with Juventus a year early, with Cardiff City and Andrea Pirlo’s Fatih Karagumruk waiting.

The midfielder joined Juve as a free agent from Arsenal in the summer of 2019, but made only 70 competitive appearances for the club, scoring six goals and providing six assists.

His contract runs to June 2023 and he is one of the top earners at the club, while Glasgow Rangers decided not to make his loan move permanent.

Finding him a new club is going to be very difficult, so Juve are negotiating to terminate his contract early by mutual consent instead.

That’s not going to be cheap either, because Calciomercato.com claim that Ramsey is asking for a €4m pay-off to leave early, whereas Juve are hoping to hand over at most €2m.

Once he does terminate his contract with Juventus, there are already options on the horizon for the Wales international as a free agent.

That includes Cardiff City, who are also interested in Gareth Bale, and Fatih Karagumruk, the club coached by former Juventus boss Pirlo.

  1. He should just spend 1 more year on Holiday and get that 7M for himself + 3M for his agent.

  2. Haha he is the most successful fraudster of all time!! 4m so he doesn’t pretend to be injured all year but is always available for Wales.
