Aaron Ramsey noted that he joined Rangers ‘to win’ and he briefly reflected upon his time in Turin with Juventus.

The 31-year-old Welshman joined the Scottish side on a six-month loan deal, hoping to find some regular playing time ahead of the summer transfer window. He failed to be a part of Massimiliano Allegri’s project in Turin and his high wages are a source of frustration for the Bianconeri.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of Rangers’ Europa League clash against Braga, Ramsey discussed his move to the Scottish side and the struggles he had with Juventus.

“I came here to win. This match is very important for us, we feel the pressure and I’m used to playing in clubs that are always under pressure. I hope I can play and give us an unforgettable night.

“I feel good, I lacked that consistency in recent years but now I feel better and stronger. I can’t wait to get back into the rhythm and show what I’m capable of.”

The 31-year-old Ramsey has had a decent start to life in Scotland, scoring two goals and providing one assist in his first eight appearances for the club, including the opening goal in the recent Old Firm derby.

The former Arsenal man never really settled in Piedmont following his arrival in the summer of 2019, consistently struggling with injuries. He has only made 70 appearances for the Bianconeri, scoring six goals and providing six assists.

  1. No way they buy him, so he will be back, no worries about that.

Hope you enjoy Juventus paying 3M/year just for his agent LOL, what a spectacular contract!
