Aaron Ramsey seems set to stay with Juventus after refusing offers from five Premier League clubs this month.

The 31-year-old Welshman has hardly featured in Turin this season under coach Massimiliano Allegri, struggling with muscle issues since the start of the campaign. He has only played 98 minutes of Serie A football, making only one start in the league.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Ramsey does not want to leave Juventus and so has refused offers from five Premier League clubs. In order, the Welshman snubbed offers from Burnley, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Wolves.

The Bianconeri are incredibly keen to sell the 31-year-old due to his inflated wages and limited use. He earns around €7.5m net per season and is contracted to the club until 2023.

His transfer has largely been a disaster, with the player failing to justify his incredibly high salary and struggling for consistent minutes due to a number of injuries. The former Arsenal man has missed at least 34 matches through injury so far during his time with Juventus.

  1. players like ramsey just make a fan sick to your stomach. but you have to blame the likes of paratici for bringing in these unreliable players at high wages.

  2. A hero in Wales who can do no wrong – he didn’t force Juve to give him that salary, did he? If he wants to fight it out for a place in the side, best of luck to him.

  3. Wtf is his problem? This is come from Inter fan. Not saying that I am not happy that he kept milking fat salary from Juve, but he is so delusional if he is waiting offer from top EPL clubs, lol

  4. I hope juve board is going to do what has to be done.

and that is, switching ramsey to Juventus b squad playing in serie c1.

that would do him really well, as runing quadriple more laps in every training session, to make sure he is ready for world cup.

  5. A signing like this makes you wonder why on earth Spurs would want to hire Paratici or better yet why anyone would. Another club loaded with money I guess.

  6. I’m sure he will even stay next summer and maybe leave after the World Cup in the winter transfer season 2022/23. What a parasite.

  7. I said it before and I’ll say it again, because he plays for Wales, he will milk his salary and still be on the national team. If he played for a more competive country he would of been forced to make a move to get regular playing time.

  8. This guy is a genius and is in every right to milk Rube as he is honouring his contract. Only a stupid club would pay a cripple that sort of money.

  9. I don’t understand all the childish abuse being directed at Ramsey. He entered into a fixed term contract with Juventus, who were very willing, and yet he is subject to silly name-calling for wanting to honour his contract? Maybe he is enjoying his life in Italy and always planned to stay for the full four years come what may.

  10. Just a reminder that Gareth Bale has 4 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TITLES to his name. Pretty much helped Real win them every time. I think some haters should do a bit of reading. Just saying, that Ramsey is not a good comparison in that regard.

  11. Very precious lesson for Juve
Just rely more on your youth sector than from nowhere land guy like him
Fagioli 5 times better than ramsey in every area
