Juventus are reportedly pushing for Miralem Pjanic’s return and have offered Aaron Ramsey to Barcelona.

According to Calciomercato.com, Pjanic wants to return to Turin while Juventus need to sign at least one midfielder to replace the injured Arthur.

The Brazilian underwent surgery yesterday and is expected to remain out of action for three months.

While the Old Lady continues to negotiate with Sassuolo over the signing of Manuel Locatelli, Pjanic remains a target for the Serie A giants.

The 31-year-old joined Barcelona in a swap deal with Arthur, but the Catalans need to sell him to free up wages to extend Leo Messi’s contract.

Pjanic earns €9m-a-year at the Nou Camp and Juventus have reportedly offered Aaron Ramsey to the Blaugrana.

However, Ramsey’s €7.5m-a-year salary is also quite high and Barcelona do not seem convinced by the offer coming from Turin.

Ramsey’s future appears to be far from Turin as the Welshman has struggled with injuries and playing time during his two-year spell at the Allianz Stadium, while Pjanic wants to return to Turin, therefore talks between the two clubs are ongoing.
