Aaron Ramsey’s agent met with Juventus today and the plan is to find him a new club in January, but there won’t be a contract termination by mutual consent.

The Wales international is not part of Max Allegri’s tactical plans, is one of the biggest earners in Turin and has a very poor injury record since joining the Bianconeri as a free agent from Arsenal in 2019.

He is under contract until June 2023, so there were reports that Juve and Ramsey’s agent could consider a termination by mutual consent in January.

However, following today’s meeting at the Continassa training ground, it was decided that is not an option going forward.

Ramsey is eager to move on and the feeling is very much mutual, so the issue now is finding a club prepared to buy him in the January transfer window.

According to the latest reports, a loan would also be possible, but only if his salary is fully covered.

Newcastle United and Everton have been most heavily linked with a mid-season swoop for Ramsey, who turns 31 later this month.

  1. I hope Tottenham understands that Paratici is the one that did these signing – 2 awful Christmas ornaments on an otherwise beautiful Christmas tree !

  2. Nobody is foolish enough to offer Ramsey such a contract.

Maybe if they convince him to leave money on the table, but why would anyone sign a player that has such an injury history?!

  3. Great player, but for a bench player he earn double what he deserve.

He hates to train in a club where proper training is everything

  4. Long overdue, he’s been a disaster in more ways than one.

Maybe Newcastle will be dumb enough and desperate enough to pay a good fee for him.

  5. I miss Alessio Secco at Juventus – Juve learnt from the very best at buying trash – Kondogbia, Gabigol (one goal scored LOL), Arnautovic, Joao Mario…and the list goes on. Inter had to learn from the best in Juve when they hired ex-Juve men in Conte and Marotta. How does it feel that you still only have one star on your shirts when Juve has 3? Inter can only win when Juve is going through difficult moments – when Juve is at its best, Inter never gets close to them – history has shown that through the decades.

  6. FAO Alessio Secco’s boyfriend: I remember we recycled Fabio Cannavaro from you in return for a reserve goalkeeper.

  7. Do not look to the past Frankie or we will have to go back to 1996 if you know what I mean. Frankie brush up on your football knowledge. The game has always been about cycles. Take a look at Barcelona and Real Madrid. Tides can change but one thing remains constant, Rube have always played back pass football. It does not work in Europe. Paolo relax, you are in Glasgow the arm pit of the world. Rains all day and people are always bitter. You will be even more bitter as it will be the year 4000 before you win the Champions League.

  8. @Secco – the recent is 9 titles in a row and 2 CL finals. Inter celebrated the scudetto win like they’d won the World Cup…which the last Italy team won with a squad full of Juve players, by the way. Learn football. Juve might be going through a cycle now but Inter’s cycles are as long as Halley’s comet’s.

  9. @I MISS ALESSIO SECCO AT JUVENTUS: In the last 3 Champions league Campaigns Inter has as many wins as Andrea Pirlo had !! But then again, Andrea Pirlo has won more trophies that Inter has in the last 10 years !

I tried to look at footage of how Inter play round of 16 football in the last 10 years and guess what? I CANNOT A SINGLE HIGHLIGHT REEL !!!!!!! Is 10 years not enough time ???

  10. Branca if you go back ten years we won the CL and got the Tripleta. Perhaps you should look at 2010 as you were the one who mentioned the 10 year timeline. Rube 0 Tripleta, 1 relegation and the wait goes on for the holy grail of CL. I looked back to 1996 and people were using dial up to connect to the internet or had no broadband at all lol. As I said to the other Rubentini do not look to the past but only to the future. You have many trash cans like Flimsay, and circle back Arthur who you cannot even sell. You guys are not making it to the CL next year not unless Milan, Atalanta and Napoli crash the car. Get used to a new era, the one of Inter. ONE THING I WILL GIVE YOU CREDIT IS THAT YOU HAVE WON THE SERIE B TITLE. We have never had the prestige to win such a title and you still lost 4 games that year as well.

  11. @I MISS MARCO BRANCA Said someone whose club have been defeated the most times on UCL final? 7 times!!! Juve can’t even score against Ajax and Hamburg in the final. You talked about Inter UCL highlight reel? What about the highlight reel from 2015 and 2017 final? That scorelines are so fantastic.
