“[Southampton] President Cortese likes Gaston a lot,” Pablo Bentancur told tuttomercatoweb.
“He’s always treated us very well, but there is a problem – the Coach does not play him.
“We respect the choice of Pochettino, because it’s up to him to choose who plays.
“But Gaston is a great player and wants to feel comfortable.
“You’d have to talk to Cortese to see if they’re going to sell. But can he return to Italy? Yes, I think he can.”
