Jiangsu Suning midfielder Ramires reveals “no offer ever arrived” from Inter for a loan deal in January.

Both clubs are owned by Suning Group, so it was suggested that the Brazilian could join Luciano Spalletti’s squad for the second half of the season.

In the end no deal could be agreed, and the player himself says he never received an offer.

“There was a lot of talk about it,” Ramires recalled, speaking to Lance.

“In truth though no offer ever arrived to me or to the directors from Inter.

“I’m 31 and I think I still have a long time in football, I do want to return to Europe but it’s something I’ll consider when the time is right.

“Right now I’m only focused on Jiangsu, I want to respect the club and wear the colours of the team that has me under contract.

“That’s my present and what I’m thinking about now.”
