However, it has emerged that Valencia, the player’s parent club, have changed the terms of their demands and now want Milan to pay the agreed €4.25m fee up front, rather than in instalments.
“For the moment I need to train at Valencia,” Rami wrote on Twitter. “The deal is complicated.”
